This Privacy Policy outlines how Notting Hill / Pinewood Tennis Club (NHPTC) collects and uses personal information to protect individual privacy. NHPTC follows the National Privacy Principles set out in Schedule 3 to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. DATA COLLECTED
WHAT WE COLLECT

The personal information we collect consists of the name, address, contact details (including telephone numbers and email addresses) of members and participants in competitions in which NHPTC participates.

We also collect birth dates for members and participants who are under 21.

We also obtain information about those persons in the course of their activities with NHPTC, including payment history, competition participation and court usage.

ACCURACY

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and kept up-to-date. To assist with this, please contact us if your details change.

REGISTRATION

If you register on our website, we store your chosen username and your email address and any additional personal information added to your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.

COMMENTS

When you leave comments on the website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

CONTACT FORM

Information submitted through the contact form on our site is sent to our company emailThese submissions are only kept for customer service purposes they are never used for marketing purposes or shared with third parties.

4. WHY WE COLLECT YOUR DATA

We collect personal information so that we can communicate with members and participants and provide them with the tennis and related activities for which NHPTC is established.

5. WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA

We use personal information for compulsory player registration with Tennis Australia, where appropriate. Other than Tennis Australia, we will not disclose personal information to any person outside NHPTC unless we are required by law or authorised by you to do so.

We will not use personal information for commercial purposes.

6. HOW WE STORE AND KEEP YOUR DATA SECURE

We store personal information in both written and electronic form, including on a database connected to our website. That information is controlled by members of the Committee of Management.

We will take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. However, due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that personal information will always be secured from unauthorised access during storage.

Please contact us if you believe there has been any unauthorised use of your personal information.

7. YOUR DATA RIGHTS
GENERAL RIGHTS

If you have a registered account on this website or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we retain, including any additional data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any of the personal data we have stored. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. In short, we cannot erase data that is vital to you being an active customer (i.e. basic account information like an email address).
